Prof. Andreas Wagner elected to EMBO membership

The Faculty of Science congratulates Prof. Andreas Wagner for having been selected from a special list of the most eminent scientists in the areas of Neuroscience and Ecology & Evolution on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of EMBO.

EMBO is an organization of more than 1500 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences. The major goals of the organization are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help build a European research environment where scientists can achieve their best work. EMBO Members make invaluable contributions to the organization by providing suggestionsor feedback on the activities of EMBO. They review applications and participate in interviews
for the EMBO Fellowship Programme and the EMBO Young Investigator Programme,propose topics and organizers for the EMBO Courses & Workshops Programme, and guide the actions of the organization as members of EMBO Council and EMBO Committees.
